Pastor Zeke & Cheryl want you to know your marriage matters to God!
Pastor Zeke & Cheryl want you to know that YOUR MARRIAGE MATTERS TO GOD!

Marriage is a gift from God—and like anything worth cultivating, it takes intentionality, patience, grace, and work. Whether your marriage is thriving, going through a challenging season, or you simply want to grow closer together, these resources can help.

We encourage couples to make marriage a regular priority: pray together, spend meaningful time together, go on dates, learn to communicate well, and seek help when you need it.

Twice a year (Feb/March and Nov) we host a special marriage night event. Registration is now open for our November 13, 2026, Marriage Night. Read below for more recommended marriage resources.

💬 Practical Ways to Grow Together
You don't need to wait until there's a problem to invest in your marriage. Consider setting aside time each week to talk, pray, and enjoy one another's company.
Try asking each other:
  • What is something I did recently that made you feel loved?
  • Is there anything you've been carrying that you haven't had a chance to share with me?
  • What is one thing we could do together more often?
  • How can I pray for you this week?
  • What is one area where we could grow closer to God together?
  • What is something you're looking forward to in the coming year?
Small, consistent investments can make a meaningful difference over time.

🙏 Keep Growing Together
A healthy marriage isn't built in a single conversation, retreat, or counseling session. It grows through thousands of ordinary choices to listen, forgive, serve, communicate honestly, pray, and love one another well.
Whatever season your marriage is in, we encourage you to take the next step—and remember that you don't have to take it alone.

❤️ When Your Marriage Is Struggling
Every marriage experiences difficult seasons. If you are facing ongoing conflict, communication difficulties, infidelity, financial stress, questions about separation, or other serious challenges, you don't have to navigate them alone.
Consider talking with a pastor, mature Christian mentor, or qualified marriage counselor. Seeking help isn't a sign of failure—it can be an important step toward healing and growth.
If you'd like help finding a counselor, Focus on the Family's counseling resources may be a helpful place to begin.
Many couples benefit from the investment made in counseling. Also, consider one of the following:
🛡️ If There Is Abuse or You Feel Unsafe
Abuse is not simply another form of marital conflict, and you should never feel pressured to remain in an unsafe situation.
If you are experiencing physical, sexual, emotional, or spiritual abuse, or if you are afraid of your spouse, please seek specialized help and prioritize your safety. A pastor or counselor can help connect you with appropriate resources, but professional domestic-violence services may also be necessary. Our domestic abuse resource page has more information.
If you are in immediate danger, contact emergency services.

Events and Conferences

Sometimes a special event to focus on your marriage can be a life-changing experience.
  • Weekend to Remember
  • In February our friends at GGWO do an annual marriage conference.
  • We typically host a late winter/early spring date night event and a fall date night event/conference.

Life Groups

Married couples often benefit from participation in a small group Bible study--a safe place to do life together with others and a place of mutual encouragement and edification.
Your marriage is worth fighting for! Help is available, so don't hesitate to get help.
